I design products and build the teams that ship them.

I'm a Design Manager in Dubai. For the past three years I've led design at baraka, an investment app used across the Gulf.

Before that I ran product design at Dscale, and at Tentwenty I designed for DIFC, Forbes Middle East, Ithra and the Dubai Future Foundation. Ten years in, six of them leading: hiring, mentoring, career tracks, and the unglamorous work of keeping a design system alive while the product keeps moving underneath it.

I ship what I design.

This site is mine end to end — hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript, a WebGL halftone shader over the hero, deployed on Cloudflare Pages. When Safari on iOS refused to link that shader, the cause turned out to be ANGLE unable to bind a vector component to an inout parameter when translating GLSL to Metal; I rewrote the eight call sites and it shipped. I mention it because it changes how I work with engineers — I can read their constraints instead of handing over files and hoping.

What I'm looking for

A Design Manager or Head of Design role in a product company — fintech, tools, anything with real complexity under the surface. Teams where design is accountable for outcomes, not just screens. Based in Dubai.
